Celebrated hiplife/hiphop music sensation, Guru has withdrawn from this years Vodafone Ghana Music awards . Guru’s manager, Ray Moni, confirmed Guru’s withdrawal in an exclusive interview withrazzonline.com ,” “Guru has pulled out from this years vgma. Guru has done so much in the year under review and it’s very heinous that he got only 3 nominations. “The hate is too much.We believe this is a ploy to frustrate Guru.Failing to earn nominations for Best Directed Music video and the Artiste of the year categories justifies their mundane ploy…This happens every year..What else do they want Guru to do? We are really not chirpy about this because it’s unbelievable…the best thing to do now, is to pull out.We will officially write to the organizers about Guru’s withdrawal on Monday”,Ray Moni accentuated extensively torazzonline.com Guru received three nominations namely: Hiplife/Hip hop artiste of the year, Hiplife Song of the Year and Best Collaboration.
